Privacy Policy

Ogun Factory Automation ("we," "us," or "our"), operated by Emmanuel Juste in Boynton Beach, FL, respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect through this website, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

Information you give us

When you contact us through the site, request service, or call the number listed here, you may provide your name, phone number, email address, business or job-site location, details about the work you need, and any photos of the equipment you choose to attach. You choose what to share; we only ask for what we need to respond and to do the job. If you give us a phone number, you agree we may call or text you about your request; these are messages about your own inquiry, not marketing. Photos you upload are used only to diagnose and quote your job, are stored with our form provider, are accessible only to Ogun, and are deleted when they are no longer needed. Please send general equipment photos only, not passwords, programs, network diagrams, or confidential production data.

Information collected automatically

When you visit the site, our hosting provider and analytics tools may record standard technical information such as your IP address, browser type, device, pages viewed, and the time of your visit. We use website analytics with IP anonymization turned on, and we record basic interaction events (for example, when someone taps a call or request-service button) so we can understand how people reach us.

This site also uses Microsoft Clarity. Clarity records how visitors move through pages, including mouse movement, clicks, scrolling, and the sequence of pages viewed, and assembles that activity into session recordings and heatmaps that we use to find usability problems and improve the site. Microsoft masks the contents of input boxes and dropdown menus in all configurations, so information you type into our forms is not captured. Microsoft acts as an independent controller of this information and handles it under the Microsoft Privacy Statement. Clarity sets cookies of its own, including cookies set by Microsoft that Microsoft states are used for advertising, site analytics, and other operational purposes. We do not run advertising ourselves and we do not use this information for marketing.

How we use your information

• To respond to your inquiry and provide quotes, scheduling, and service.
• To perform and follow up on work you request.
• To operate, secure, and improve this website.
• To keep records and meet legal, tax, or insurance obligations.

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with:

• Service providers that help us run the site and business, such as our website host (Netlify), our website provider Villex Web, which receives and stores the details you submit through a form so your inquiry reaches us reliably, and website analytics (Google Analytics). These providers may only use the information to perform services for us.
• Microsoft, which provides the Microsoft Clarity session recording and heatmap service described above. Microsoft acts as an independent controller of the information collected through Clarity and handles it under the Microsoft Privacy Statement rather than solely on our instructions.
• Others when required by law, to enforce our terms, or to protect the safety, rights, or property of any person.

When a form cannot be delivered at the moment you send it, for example because your connection drops, your browser holds what you typed on your own device and tries again on your next visit. That copy stays on your device, is not readable by us until it is delivered, and is discarded after seven days. Clearing your browser storage removes it immediately.

Data retention

We keep the information you send us for as long as needed to respond to your request, provide and stand behind our work, and meet legal and insurance obligations. Uploaded photos are kept only as long as needed for your inquiry and are then deleted. Website analytics are retained in aggregate by our analytics provider. When information is no longer needed, we delete or de-identify it.

Website analytics and session recording data is retained on each provider's own schedule rather than ours. Microsoft states that Microsoft Clarity data is retained for up to 30 days from the time of recording.

Your choices and rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of the personal information you have given us by emailing info@ogunfactoryautomation.com. You can limit or opt out of website analytics through your browser's privacy settings, and you can email us to ask that we not use analytics on your visits. You can also decline to provide information, though we may then be unable to respond to your request.

Security

We use reasonable measures to protect the information handled through this site. No website or method of transmission is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children

This site is intended for business inquiries and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Other websites

Our site may link to third-party sites we do not control. Their privacy practices are their own, and we encourage you to review their policies.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the site after an update means you accept the revised policy.
